I had such a lovely stay at the horse creek lodge! The surrounding property is beautiful, the Cabins are stylish and comfortable and the owners are the warmest most lovely hosts. I spent four lovely days here, and they treated me and my party not just as guests but as friends. They also were incredibly helpful suggesting activities and beautiful hikes. I did a white water rafting trip with them. I’m a bit afraid of water, and they were very understanding and supportive. I had a great time on the river and felt completely safe in their care! I will be back again for sure!

Fabulous vacation spot for the active adventurer and the recluse alike. A great place for a friends and family reunion or a quiet getaway for two, or even one. It’s jut a few short miles to one of the finest public golf courses (Tokatee Golf Club) this side of the Pecos, too. They also offer rafting trips on the McKenzie River and bicycle rentals. A quiet evening sitting around the campfire after a day’s activities is enjoyed by all. A fully equipped kitchen is also available for any event. Put it on your list. You will not be disappointed, Honest!

Love Horse Creek Lodge! We rolled in on a wet Oregon night and were psyched to find we were surrounded in an absolutely gorgeous forest the next morning! The accommodations were perfect with a memory foam mattress on the pull out bed in the living room and a king bed in the bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook including the things often forgotten on a trip like olive oil, spices, tea and really tasty coffee sealed in a mason jar. Even on a wet rainy day the deck was dry and pleasant to sit and enjoy our morning coffee before embarking on some fun mountain biking! Alyssa is an incredible host and we will definitely be back!

“This is the place to stay in the McKenzie River Valley”

Horse Creek Lodge is terrific. It’s clean and cozy. It’s a short distance away from the noise of the main highway, and has an easy trail from the cabins to Horse Creek and the McKenzie River. It’s convenient to all of the “must-sees” in the area, reasonably priced, and fully furnished for cooking a great meal, or resting after a big day. And it’s pet-friendly. So, this place has all the stuff we were seeking, but the best part was the hospitality. Expect the owners to send prompt replies, give warm welcomes, and be available to provide helpful information. They really helped us to make a fabulous adventure.

What a wonderful place! My office and I spent a weekend here for a get away. It was perfect for all of us to get away from the hustle and bustle of real life.
Gary and Alyssa were the perfect hosts. We went white water rafting, mountain biking, and just relaxing. I can’t wait to go back. If you have a weekend free, I definitely recommend this place.

This place is awesome!  We stayed in the delta house, which is set up for large groups.  House was stocked well and easy to create great family memories.  They had a live Christmas tree set up.  There was a power outage in the valley on Sunday morning.  The owners brought us breakfast burritos and hot coffee!  First class!
